Para Symposium this Wednesday

Well it's the second Wednesday of the month this week, so you know what that means..... The Para Symposium will be taking place at 5:15 p.m. (PST). The topic for this month's webinar is: Diversity in the School Library. You can always check it out through the Google Hangouts on Air or through the YouTube Channel. 

Final Day of Read Across America Week

We have reached the end of our week long celebration of Dr. Seuss and Read Across America. Today all the students and staff are "Going Green." I'm sure you can conclude that my featured book for today is The Lorax. This has been a fun and fabulous week!

Day 4 Read Across America Week

So excited for what I have in store for the kiddos today as we celebrate our fourth day of Read Across America. My featured story for today is the latest Dr. Seuss book What Pet Should I Get. Today the students are allowed to dress up as their favorite animal.

Day 3 Read Across America

I'm unmasking my inner "Superhero" today during our 3rd day of celebrating the beloved Dr. Seuss for Read Across America Week. My featured book for today is Fox in Socks. So it would only be fitting to wear "crazy socks!"

Day 2 Read Across America

What fun is in store for my students as we celebrate day 2 of our Read Across America Week. Students will be creating abstract art and art without using any writing instruments. Only scissors, paper, and glue. So excited! My featured book for today is The Cat in the Hat and it is Red, White, and Blue day!
